The deal

1. WHAT THIS IS

runs.space is a public directory and a weekly voting competition for software products. You submit a project, it becomes a rocket, and other registered users vote for it with fuel. Using the site means you accept these terms, the Privacy Policy, and — if you enter a sprint — the Contest Rules.

2. YOUR ACCOUNT

One account per person. You're responsible for what happens under it. Operating multiple accounts to influence voting will get your rockets disqualified and your accounts removed.

3. WHAT YOU SUBMIT

Only submit a project you own or materially contribute to. You keep all rights to your content. You give us permission to display it on runs.space and in things that promote it — the race page, the archive, social posts, and the newsletter.

Don't submit content that is illegal, malicious, deceptive, or that impersonates someone.

One URL is one rocket, permanently. Editing a rocket is free and keeps its fuel. You can't re-submit the same URL to reset your fuel to zero and start again.

4. VOTING

Fuel is a vote from a real person. One per person, per rocket, per week; no voting for your own rocket; daily limits apply. Buying, selling, automating, or incentivising votes is prohibited.

Money never buys fuel. Paid tiers and boosts buy placement and features. If we ever change that, it would change what the leaderboard means, so we won't.

5. WHAT YOU CAN BUY

• Runner — per-race or monthly. Prize eligibility, one Super Fuel per week, higher daily voting limit, boosted placement.
• Signal Boost / Re-entry Burn — a time-boxed visibility window, publicly labelled as boosted.
• Hangar Pass — a permanent profile page at your-slug.runs.space with a dofollow outbound link. A Hangar page is not Orbit: it does not enter the Hall of Fame and is not prize-eligible.

Orbit itself is not for sale. It is only reached by earning 500 fuel.

Prices may change; you pay the price shown at purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled and you can cancel any time, effective at the end of the paid period.

6. REFUNDS

We're based in Italy, so EU consumer law applies: digital purchases normally carry a 14-day withdrawal right. By buying a Runner ticket, subscription, Boost, Burn, or Hangar Pass, you ask us to start immediately and acknowledge that once we've done so — a boost has run, a race you entered has started, or a subscription period has begun — you lose that withdrawal right for the part already delivered.

Our intent beyond the legal minimum: if a race didn't run, or the thing you paid for didn't work, email us and we'll refund it regardless. Once a boost has run or a race you entered has finished, that's been delivered.

7. THE DOFOLLOW LINK

For free listings, the outbound link to your product is nofollow until you install the runs.space badge on your site and we verify it. Hangar and Orbit pages link out dofollow without needing the badge. We don't promise any particular SEO outcome — no one honestly can.

8. RESERVED PADS

We sometimes create a listing from public information and hold it for the person who built the project. A reserved pad collects no fuel, appears in no ranking, and is eligible for nothing. It is not an entry and it does not sign anyone up for anything. If it's yours you can claim it; if you'd rather it didn't exist, tell us and we'll remove it without argument.

9. WE CAN REMOVE THINGS

We may remove a rocket, void fuel, or close an account that breaks these terms or manipulates voting. Where it's a judgment call rather than clear abuse, we'll tell you why.

10. NO WARRANTY, AND LIMITS

The site is provided as-is. We don't guarantee uptime, that a race will run on schedule, or any level of traffic, votes, or SEO benefit. We're not responsible for the products listed here — check them yourself before trusting them.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the previous 12 months. This cap's enforceability under Italian/EU consumer law still awaits professional legal review.
